In my role as a graphic designer at Splurge Bakery, I was responsible for various design tasks in multiple areas:

1. Utilizing Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, I created a range of materials including flyers, signage, menus, and branding elements such as labels for display cases and packaging assets. Additionally, I employed Mailchimp to design and distribute email blasts.

2. Collaborating closely with clients, I developed custom cake and cookie designs. This process involved gathering detailed specifications from clients, presenting them with multiple design options via email, and finalizing the chosen design for printing onto edible image paper.

3. I conceptualized and created graphic cookie designs tailored to seasonal and holiday themes, intended for both in-house sale and distribution through our business partners.

4. Handling photography duties, I captured images of cakes, cookies, and cupcakes, subsequently editing them for distribution across the Splurge Bakery website and social media platforms.

Through my experience as the graphic designer at Splurge Bakery, I have refined valuable skills including effective client communication, proficiency in print media, advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, proficiency in Canva, adept use of Mailchimp, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team dynamic.
