Gatsby’s Mansion is a restaurant inspired by the book “The Great Gatsby” written by F. Scott Fitzgerald. When I think of “The Great Gatsby,” I immediately think of luxurious mansions, people dressed in formal attire, and high class. Thus, when creating a restaurant based on this story, I knew it would have to be very classy, formal, and prestigious. I created two menus that would reflect this theme, using clean typography, gold, and rose gold accents. One menu is for starters and entrees, and the other is for drinks. Additionally, I also created a mobile app for the restaurant where individuals can access the menu and order food to go. The logo, use of geometry, and imagery are also very inspired by “The Great Gatsby” movie posters.
