This project is a webpage redesign I created for the Township of South Orange. The original website is very old and outdated, and the color palette is also dull and not very pleasing to the eye. Additionally, it is not the most user-friendly, either. To make a more updated version of the South Orange Township website, I knew I would need to refresh the color palette, change the typography, make it easier to navigate, and make it more aesthetically pleasing overall. I used the colors from South Orange’s new town logo to come up with my new color scheme. I highlighted the most important aspects of the website and made them stand out. Finally, I added a lot more imagery to the new webpage as well, for the original website was severely lacking in that. For this project specifically, I only had to recreate three pages of the website, so I chose the homepage, the government page, and the community page.
